Our second semi-annual
flea market was a
monuiiiiental success despite
the rain last Saturday.
Thanks to everyone in the
community who helped
make it a success. The
winner of the log cabin quilt
was Janet Bishop. We will be
having another flea market
in the fall.
Last week we viewed the
film "The Scottish
Newcomers". It was a very
interesting film which
renewed some thoughts on
what this country was built
on.

people minded the disruption
that was going on around
them last week because soon
the painting will be finished
and we will be back to
normal again.
This Wednesday, Dr. Lee
Cowley will speak to the
Seniors on chiropractic
medicine. The students and
staff at the F. E. Madill

musical they have been
working hard lately to put
together. It will be presented
to area seniors May 11.
Last Thursday, Director
Rita Rice from the centre
was guest speaker at the
Teeswater Senior Citizens
Club. She talked about the
centre and showed a slide
presentation of the activities
going on at the centre. If any
other group is interested in
hearing this presentation,
please call 357-1440 or 357-
1445 to make arrangements.
The next foot clinic is
scheduled for May 18 in the

area crowded inside to browse and shop. The sale was
sponsored by the Wingham and Area Day Centre for the
Homebound. In addition to its own tables, the Day Cen-
tre rented tables to other.individuals and organizations
to display their wares in a sort of giant, indoor garage
