WINGHAM HERITAGE
EXPLORERS
By Karen Schwichtenberg
Our second 4-H meeting
was held Monday. The
president, Mary Smits,
opened the meeting with the
4-H pledge. Following the
pledge, we answered the roll
call, "What German or
Mennonite desserts have you
tried?" Following that, we
discussed different types of
cheeses and sausages. We
learned about the heritage
foods of many countries by
reading and filling in the
blanks in our books.
Then our leaders assigned
our home activity. We closed
with sampling the celery
soup, Delhi Special and
Dutch Peach Kutchen which
we made earlier in the
meeting. We also agreed to
call the club "Wingham
Heritage Explorers".
IN MEMORIAM
MARKS—In memory of our
daughter Charlene who
passed away one year ago
February 12, 1982.
Memories don't fade,
They just grow deep,
For the one we loved,
But could not keep.
Life goes on we know
That's true,
But not the same Charlene,
Since we lost you.
—Sadly missed by Mom,
Dad and Brian Marks.
