With a wonderful third
period, the Wingham Royals
won a come -from -behind 7-6
victory over the OMildmay
Monarchs, handing Mildmay
its first loss at home, last
Sunday afternoon.
Mildmay jumped into the
lead at 4:03 on a powerplay
goal by Del Neumaa. The
Royals rebounded as Dave
Stephenson, with some extra
hustle, dug the puck from the
corner to Dave Galley, who
rang one off the goalpost.
Stephenson pounced on the
rebound to tie the score at.

Goals by Paul Lahn and
Steve Pitt put Mildmay
ahead 3,1, but the Rpyals
closed the gap at 17:08 as
Randy Clarke fed a pass to
Rick Jacklin in front of the
net and he, draped with no
fewer than three yellow
sweaters,- somehow
managed to jam the puck
into the net.
The final goal of the period
came at 19:29 as once again
the Royals were guilty of
yielding a goal in the last
minute of the period and
Mildmay held a 4-2 lead after

The Royals struck like
lightning in the second

Mildmay appeared to panic.
At every turn Wingham'
