Lucknow, of Mrs. William
Thomas Brydges, formerly
of Belgrave. She was in her
84th year.
Mrs. Brydges was the
former Josephine Jessie
Johnston and was born in
Morris Township on Sep-
tember 28, 1898, a daughter
of the late Henry Johnston
and Margaret Elizabeth
Golley. She attended SS No.
5, Morris, and received her
secondary education at
Wingham High School. She
was a member of St. Paul's
Anglican Church, Wingham,
and until her health failed,
she was an active member of
the Anglican Church Women -
and the church choir.
Mrs. Brydges was
predeceased by her husband
on January 28, 1959. She is
suririved by three daughters,

in Brandon Cemetery,
Belgrave.
Pallbearers were six
grandsons, Kenneth John-
stone, Allan Johnstone,' Paul
Rousselle, Murray Downie,
Craig Brydges and Michael
Brydges.

Scotland, on June 30, 1924.
She was a daughter of the
late Mr. and Mrs. David
Henry Gibb.
Left to mourn her passing,
besides her husband, are two

daughters, Mrs. Alex
(Lynda) Mawhinney,
London, Joan of RR 5,
Kincardine, Mrs. David

illness.
Mr. McBurney was a son
of the late Hugh McBurney
and Annie Bengouph. Elie
attended school ar Marnoch
and . farmed before his
retirement to Wingham, in ,
1946. He served six years on •
the East Wawanosh Council
and was road supermtepclest;..
for the township for 25 years,
- retiring from that position in
1955. 11e was a member of
the Wingham United Church;'
the Belgrave branch of the
- Loyal Orange Lodge and the
Canadian Order ' of
Foresters.
Mr. McBurney is survived
by his wife; the former Sarah
Elizabeth (Sadie) King,
whom he married in Turn -
berry Township on ' Sep-
tember 2, 1914. There are two
daughters,. Mrs. Gordon
(Lavine) Robinson of
Wingham and Mrs. Dewitt
(Gladys) Adams, RR 2,
Gorrie; five grandchildren
and seven great grand-
children. He was
predeceased by four
brothers and three sisters.,,

Funeral Home until
Saturday when complete
funeral and committal
service was conducted at two
o'clock by Rev. Cecil Jardine
of Wingham United Church.
