The lrontiten continued to
press in the middle frame as
they came out flying, com-

in their own zone. Kevin
Dietner got things rolling
just over three minutes into
the period as the Ironmen
kept the puck in at the blue -
line. With the defence caught
out . of position Dietner
skated in alone and fired the
puck by Harwood's stick
side.
Three minutes later Dave
Errington .made it 3-1 after
taking a pass from the op-
posite point. He skated in as
the defence bunched up and
backhanded the puck to the
lower left hand corner.
At 9:15 Len Stamper, who
is not usually a scoring
threat, made some fancy
moves at the point, banging
the puck off the boards to get
by two charging defenders,
then moved toward the goal.
He passed off then swatted in.
the rebound, making the
score 4-1.
Less than two minutes
later Dewar got his first of
two, quickly converting a,
Darren Watts pass into the
Ironmen's fifth goal. Before
the period ended the Bears
got one back as Brian Lush
shot the puck. between Doug
Gamble's legs after the.
Ironmen failed to clear the
puck out of their zone.
The Wingham club started

Paul Hamilton finished off a
play started by Brad Hum-

handled through the defence
the Port Elgin blueline, then
followed the puck into the
corner after being knocked
out of the play briefly. He re-

Hamilton in the slot.
