Bad clearing, bunching up and failure to move the puck got the Ironmen in trouble on more than one odeasion. A lot of work will have to be done behind their own blue - line. Brad Humphrey gave the Ironmen the early lead mid- way through the opening period with the goahepulled in favor Of an extra attacker. The sixth man did not get a chance to figure in the scoring drive, as Humphrey converted the rebound after Jamie Cooper had stopped the first shot from the op- posite side of the crease. Before the period ended the Mariners evened things as Bevin Grieg quickly cOn- verted a cross ice pass while being parked 10 feet out in front of the goal.
