'phis week's meeting
started.at 6:30- We all went
to Mowat Forest. That is the
troop we are going to CJ '81
with.
CJ is only 18 days away
Marty feels that even though
CJ is so close, the interest in
CJ is not as high as'it shoi#Id
be. There are still many
Scouts who are not turning
out to the CJ events.
Once we got to Mount
Forest we started to play a
game they have developed
and practice. It consisted of
a fairly skinny board put on
two boxes. Then we stood on
the board and tried to knock -
each other off the board by
hitting . each other with
pillows. Even though Mount
Forest had more practice,
the Wingham troop won most
of the fights.
We then picked a partner.
Both of us would stand on a
barrel and see how far we
could travel rolling the
barrel. After that we all
drove home.
As CJ comes closer, I hope
the Wingham troop will show
more interest in the coming
fourth Canadian Scouts'
Jamboree-.
