Hockey spotlight By Peter Bauer Ken is in his first year as ad Ironmen after coming from the Brussels minor hockey organization. He is 17 years old and, weighing in at 130 pounds, is one of the lightweights on the club. In 22 games up to lase weekend he had four goals and 10 assists for a total of>,, 14 points. Being considerably lighter than some of his counter- parts (not that there is anything wrong with that), he has made up for it through his other abilities. He has had good success winning faceoffs and playing a solid game while ontheice. He has a plus 10 in goals for and. against, which is right up there with the best of his line mates. • • ' Ken currently is 'attending F. E. Madill Secondary School and hopes to become a skilled carpenter in the future. He enjoys farming, hockey and baseball. He% says that his teammates are "a great bunch of guys tole play hockey with and party with". As for his play on the ice, his output is obvious. As for the partying," he, knows more about that than I do! ,. FROSTYFEST FILL SOON BE HERE WATCH for further details ,roiN THE FVN.
