Reeve Harold Robinson will serve on the Maitland Valley Conservation Authority and will also serve on the Pioneer Parks board with Coun. William Newton. Coun. Newton will also be a member of the Wingham hospital board. Coun. Stuart Douglas will . serve an the Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority as well as being the livestock and poultry evaluator. The fence viewers will be Lorne Robinson, John Ferguson, Bruce Krellar, John Jacques, Harry Winkle and Stewart Rowley. The Gorrie Darks board will. include Bill Doig, Murray Latroni'co, Irwin Stone, Jerry DeJonge, Brian Underwood, David Neilson and Robert Gibson. Appointments for the Gerrie Community Hall board have not yet been finalized and will be announced after Jan. 14. Wingham hosts Brussels this Thursday at 8 p.m. in a league contest.. n a Egg producers get financial protection TORONTO—Lorne Hen- derson, Ontario minister of agriculture and food, has announced amendments to the Farm Products Payment Act which will allow for more flexibility in plans set up to assist producers in cases of buyer bankruptcy: 'The amendments will allow producer groups in- terested in setting up such funds . to eliminate the provision for' payments to be made in cases where buyers are late in paying for goods received. It also will allow certain classes of producers\ to be exempted and provides additional grounds for bayment, The " Farm Products Payment Act provides for such plans toThe funded by ,contributions from producers of farm products, buyers, or both. The changes were made at the request of the Ontario Egg • Producers' Marketing Board, whiclh also asked for IegislatiVe authority to make payments to producer - creditors of e. B. Whyte and Sons. The legislation enables the board to make payments from its own financial reserves to egg producers who sold eggs to the com- pany on or before March 7, 1980.
