RuthThompson, one of our volunteers from; ,:lAtteknolt, had a short storytonalrate , during the carol, '0 Come All Ye Faithful'. ButtehiSspent one Christmas in Sierra Leone, Africa, with hr sister who was on an over- seas work pragrailit The story was quite appropriate to the carol, and also ex- plained Christmas in another count rY The Christmas 'dinner was served at noon to the whole group. Each senior was res- -. ponsi bie for bringing an item for the meal. The turkeys and some hot vegetables • were cooked right here at the centre, but everything else was made or bought by the seniors. One of our seniors displayed elthelieht acting ability. Rel"dolttiine was quite appropriate and her disguise was excellent, but after a while the crowd figured. out it was Mrs. Tillie Gaunt of Wingham. John MacMurchy of Lucknow, gave a Christmas reading, entitled 'Christmas Time'. John has seen quiten- few Christmases as he -cele- brated his 94th birthday on Monday, Dec. 22. His en- thusiasm was very well received. Denise Nethery, Jennifer and Jeffrey Saunders played piano solos. A pier entitled, "Christmas Tradition" was Presented.
