Theatre will be presenting.
`Frosty and Company' on
Thursday, Dec. 18, at 7:30
p.m.
During the Christmas
holidays there will be
shinney hockey for children
six to 11 years old from 9:30
a.m. until 10:30' a.m., and
children 12 to 16 years from
10:30 a.m. to 11:31 a.m.
Shinny hockey will be
played on Monday, Dec. 22,
and the following Tuesday,
Wednesday and Friday of
that week. It will be played
also on Monday, Dec. 29, and
the following Tuesday and
Friday. Helmets and face
masks are necessary.
There will be public
skating during the holidays
at the Lockridge . Memetrial -
Arena every. day except

Penalties dominate
The Wingham Royals
came up short in two games.
on the weekend, being 9-8, to
Harriston Friday night 'and
falling 10-5 to a high -flying
Goderich club in a game
dominated by penalties.
Harriston Blues outscored
the Royals 3-1 in the first
period, coming back from an
early Royal lead. Jim
McGee scored at 17 seconds,
.`-ass`istecr by' Mem-ate-Steve'
Caslick.
Goals by Smith, McCann
and Smith again, all within
five minutes, gave the Blues
a lead they never
relinquished.
Goals by Berme Haines,
assisted by Caslick, and
McGee, assisted by Haines,
brought the Royals close, but
they were unable to sustain
the effort and the Harriston
club scored a total of four
goals in the second period,
with Smith completing his
hat trick.
In the third period the
teams fought to a draw, with
Dave Golley and Haines
scoring for the Royals. Russ
Jones assisted on Golley's
goal while I Kevin Hastie
drew an assist on the Haines
marker.

untracked against Harriston

However at the end of the
period Wingham was

penalties by Referee -
MacKenzie, which led to
three powerplay goals by
Goderich within two minutes
at the start of the .third
period. That was almost the
whole game. McGee tallied
late in the period, assisted by
Jacklin and Williams.
The game elided 10-5 for
the Sailors, who so far are
unbeaten by the Royals this
year. However Wingham
remains firmly in fourth
place behind league -leading
Mildmay and second place
(tied) Harriston and
Lucknow.
