Wingham Public School and
after graduating from P. E.
Madill. Secondary School,
eke trained as a medical
secretary at Fanshawe
College, London. She
worked, 'after graduation
from that college, at Victoria
Hospital, 'London.
On December 29, 1973, she
was rnareied in St: Andrew's
•Presbyteriari Church to
Murray Kerr of . Wingham.
He survives to Mourn her
passing. She was the•:loving
mother of two sons; Scdtt; 5,
and Michael, 1, and will also
-be deeply missed by her
brothers and sisters, William

Joe (Barbara) Lobsinger of
Stroud, Joan Cerson of
Guelph • and Paul person,

Brookhaven Nureing Home,
Wingham, on Monday,
October 20. He was in his
95th year.
Mr. MacLean was a son of/
the late John MacLean an 4
Sara Gray and was born in
Wingham. He was a me Der
of the - Canadian Order of -
Foresters and St. Andrew's
Presbyterian Church,
Wingham. He enjoyed all
sports, especially horse
racing, and was well known
for his beautiful horses and
Dalmatian dogs.
Mr. MacLean inarried='he---

Tirrnberny. She predeceased
him, as did two daughters,

Mrs. Fraser Haugh of
Bluevale passed away
suddenly at her home on
Thursday, October 23, in her
77th year.
The former Eva Isabel
Stokes, she was. a daughter
of the late James Stokes and
Elizabeth Lane and was born
in Carrick Township, Bruce.
County. She attended SS No.
12, .Culross, in ;Belmore and
married Mr. Haugh on April
27, 1932, in Teeswater. She
was a member of Knox
Presbyteriah ' Church,
Bluevale.
Besides her; husband, Mrs.
Haugh is survived . by five
daughters, Isabel Darling
and Mrs. Carman (Wilma)
Nixon, both of London, • Mrs.
Arnold (Joyce) Noble,
Listowel,Mrs. Mike

Wroxeter and Eileen, at

Miss. Winnifred Viola Har-
court of 359 Edward Street,
Wiirigham, passed away
Wednesday, October- 22, in.
Victoria Hospital, London.
She was 60 years of age.
Born and educated . in.
Paisley; Miss ' Harcourt was
a daughter of the late
Richard Harcourt and
Katherine Rolston. She was
employed by Victoria
Hospital and also worked as
a receptionist at Toronto
General Hospital before her
retirement. She was a
member of the Ladies'
Auxiliary to the Royal
Canadian legion, Branch
180, Wingham.
Left to mourn her passing
are five sisters, Mrs. Roy
(May) Jones, Miss Mabel.
Harcourt and Mrs. Thomas
(Rose) O'Neil,"allof Toronto,
Mrs. Glenn (Nadine) Sin-
namon Wingham, and Miss
Myrtle Harcourt, Cambridge
(Hespeler); and three
brothers, Alvin of Port
Elgin, Wilmer and Jack of
Wingham:

conducted Saturday at two

merly of Wingham, who lost
his life Friday, October 17, in
an automobile accident in
Alberta.

Richard Harcourt was
born May 31, 1958, in Toronto
and came to Wingham aa'a
young boy. He attended
Wingham Public School and
the F. E. Madill Secondary
School and at the time of his
death, was employed by N.
E. McCullough Oil Co., High
Level, Alberta. During his
years in Wingham, he was
active in the Wingham Boy
Scouts. 1
He is survived by his
mother, Mrs. Fay Hoggart of
Calgary, Alberta; one
brother, Terry Harcourt of
Port Elgin;,one sister,
Marnie Hoggarof Calgary;
his grandmother, .Mrs.

farmed during his early life,
then became a dog breeder

he enlisted in the'181st
Battalion and served 'in the
47th in France from 1918 to
1919. He was a life member
of the Royal. Canadian
Legion and belonged to the
United Church

predeceased by his parents,
Charlie Simmons -, and
Elizabeth Underwood; one
infant daughter; three
brothers and one sister. He is
