A popular par- ticipant in community ac- tivities, he was also an active member of the Brussels United Church where -he was clerk of session and sang in the choir. Mr. McFadden : was predeceased `by his wife, the former Hazel Oakes, in 1973. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. M. D. (Loreen) Irvine,' Guelph; one son`, Ross of Mississauga; seven gran- dchildren and one great grandchild. There was, at the time of his death, one. brother, Russell of Port Elgin, who passed away the evening of his brother's funeral. He was also associated with East Huron Produce Ltd. His wife survives ,to mourn his passing.
