at special service

Kaiter, were invited by Rev.
Wesley Ballot° participate in
the leeth aliniVersary Ser-
vice at Zion Ijnitth Chen di,
near Thamesford, on Sunday
' evening.
The Thamesford organist
played preludes before the
service time when Mr. Ball,
now minister of Thamesford
pastoral charge and former-
ly of Wroxeter and Gorrie,
followed by his son, Wesley
Ball Jr. of Gorrie, who had
been guest speaker at the
morning service, and mem-
bers of the Wroxeter choir
filed in and took their places
in front of a full church con-
gregation.
Following the opening
prayers and welcome by
Wesley Ball Jr., he turned
the pulpit over to his father
who introduced the Wroxeter
choir and led them in singing
Til Walk With God' and 'I'll
Fly Away'. The choir sang
several numbers during the
• service with the congrega-
tion joining them in one. Mr.
Bali's sermon asked the
question, 'What Is A Chris-
, tian?'.
Following the blessing and
commission, Mr. Bail ex-
tended an invitation to meet
in the church hall for a time
of fellowship and lunch.
Several members of the
Wroxeter congregation at-
tended the special service.
