3 -act comedy, chosen
for fall production
The Wingham Town
Players have chosen a three -
act comedy as their fall
production. 'Inside Lester'
by Fred Carmichael com-
bines humor and mystery,
explained Sandra Lee,
producer -director.
She, said that Lester,
played by Dale Edgar,
inadvertently swallows a
diamond and his "valuable
stomach" is kidnapped
together with his two
secretaries, portrayed by
Sheila Stapleton and Lizzann
Morrison.
The two "crooks", Louie
and Beck, are played by Jqe
Sanders of Blyth and Francis
Mahe. Their employer,
Flemming, is portrayed by
Rick Rathburn.
Other members of the cast
are Diane Thynne as
Pembina Gordley-Smith;
Joan Middleton as Casa,
Flemming's girlfrientita
Crump, Josephine Huxley;
and Mauvourneen Shields as
an understudy for Mrs;
Huxley.
Mauvourneen Shields
also the assistant produ
and assistant director.
Miss Lee explained the
group is well into rehearsals
and the play is scheduled for
Nov. 13, 14 and 15, at the
Town Hall at 8:30 p.m.
She said rehearsals are
going fairly smoothly,
however the players could
use some help for lighting,
advertising and sound af-
fects.
Furniture needed for the
stage setting are: a portable
bar and two liar stools, two
wicker chairs, an imitation
fire place, a small leather
sofa or love seat and a
butterfly chair.
If anyone wishes to lend a
hand for this production, or
donate props, please contact
Miss Lee after 4 p.m. at 357-
1383 or Diane Thynne at 357-
