township's tax roll, Mr. Steip
owns part lot seven, and
Miss Helen Milligan owns lot
eight and part lot seven.
In the deeds each property
owner has, Miss Milligan's
states she owns Lot 8 and in
Mr. Stein's, he owns Lot 7.

The Wingham Publiir
Utilities Commission has de-
cided to spend $12,367 on
renovations for the front of
its office building on Jose-
phine Street.
Renovations, which will
include new tinted glass for
the large front window and a
new door, will be done by
Bullas Glass Ltd. of Kit-
chener.
Ken Saxton,- PUC
manager, explained the
front of the building is un-
stable due to settling. One
oti
large glass pane has already
been replaced because of the
problem.
The commission was also
considering the installation
of stone tilling on the second
storey, however it has post-
poned work on the second
level to another year to con-
form with its budget. Costs
were estimated at between
$16,760 and $22,000, depen-
ding on the stone finish.
During the Thursday night
meeting the PUC decided to
call for tenders for its in-

"To Prohibit Depositing i
- of Refuse or Debris:
By -Law No. 26-1980
A By -Law pursuant to' the Municipal Act,. 1970 Section
354 (1), subsection 70, to prohibit the depositing of
refuse or debris in the Township of Morris.
WHEREAS Section -354 (1) subsection 70 of the Munici-
pal Act, 1970 provides that by-laws may be passed by
the council of the Township prohibiting the throwing,
placing or depositing of refuse or debris on private
property or on property of the municipality or'any local
board thereof without the authority from the owner or
occupant of such property.
•
THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED by the Council of ,the Town-
ship of Morris and it is hereby enacted:by fhe author-
ity of the same:
1/ THAT NO PERSON shall throw, place or deposit refuse
or debris of any description on municipal or private
property without authority from the Township Council,
owner or occupant of such property within the Town-
ship of Morris in the County of Huron.
2/ THAT ANY PERSON who contravenes any provision
of this Cy -La a .MI ha liable, upon conviction to a fine
of not Tess than $50.00 and not greater nn
All penalties herein are recoverablepursuant to the
provisions of the Summory Convictions Art of Ontario.
3/ THAT this By -Low supercedes all former By -Laws
enacted under the authority of this Act or.its predeces-
sors and the same are hereby rescinded and repealed;
4/ THAT this By -Low comes Into force and takes effect
upon the final passing hereof and may be cited as the
"BY-LAW - TO PROHIBIT DEPOSITING OF REFUSE OR
DEBRIS".
