fastball tournament,

The Clifford Juniors
downed the Clifford Inter-
mediate team 3-2 to win the
chanipionship trophy and a
$400 prize. The inter-
mediates took home $200 in
winnings.
Wingham* BPs defeated
the Belmore Intermediates
7-3 in an exciting game to
capture the consolation
trophy and a $200 prize. Bel -
more was awarded $100.
Several individual awards
were handed out after the
final championship game
between the two Clifford
teams.
Palmerston was chosen
the most sportsmanlike
team. Kelly Hards, Clifford
Juniors, captured the most
valuable player •award,
while Reg Walls of the Clif-
ford Intermediates won the
most valuable pitcher
award. Jim Blackwell,
playing for the Belmore
Juniors, batted in the most
runs.
Other teams which par-
ticipated in the tournament
were Chepstow, Wroxeter
Royals, Brussels, Howick
Juniors, Ripley, Palmerston,
Harriston, Goderich Canada
Co., Moorefield, G. P.
Thunderbirds and Walton.
