The former Margaret
Elikaheth Edwards, Mrs.
Busby was born in Howick
Township on August 6, 1911.
Her parents were the late
Alta and Mrs. William Ed-
wards, She received her
&Mesentery education at SS
o.i, Howick.
oni October 24, 1931, she
married Mr. Busby in the
Delmore United Church. He
riredeteased her, as did one
daughter, Nina Grieg, for-
• saintly Of Toronto.
She is survived by three
daughters, Mrs. William
• (Velma) Cumming of RR 2,
Guelph, Mrs. Ross (Wendy)
P011and Mrs. Mike (Debbie)
•Inglis, both of %gingham; two
BOLLS, Jim of RR 2, Mildmay
and Harry of Belmore; and
14 grandchildren. There are
four brothers, Harry, Clare,
• Lorne and Leslie Edwards.
She was predeceased iv one
sister, Mrs. Lily Miller, and
three brothers, Irwin,
Clayton and WIllIam.,
Mrs. Busby remained a
Member of McIntosh United
Church but after moving to
Wingham some years ago,
she became a member of the
United Church Women, the
Wingharn Senior Citizens,
the Mary Hastings Club and
the Second Mile Club.
The late Mrs. Busby rested
at The Currie -Walker
Funeral Home, Wingham,
where friends paid respects
on Sunday evening. Removal
was made Monday to
McIntosh United Church
where Rev. T. J. Rees of
Mount Forest conducted
funeral service at three
o'clock. Interment followed
in the adjoining McIntosh
Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Don and
Doug Busby, Keith and Gary
Cumming, Ross Poll and
Mike Inglis. Flowers were
carried to the graveside by
Cheryl and Brian Busby and
Lynne Cumming.

• Ministry of Agriculture and
Food.
The students, working
from June 23 to Aug. 15, have
been engaged in a variety of
temporary jobs. To date the
•..girls have pruned peach
trees in Goderich, hayed for
Wingham area farmers,
• picked stones, cleared wood
piles, seeded lawns, painted,
• fenced and done garden
work. •
• Having farming • back-
grounds, the girls explained
they are acquainted with this
type of labor, but working as
an Agricrew allows them to
travel to different farms and
meet new friends. They also
enjoy working outside and
picking, up a few tips on
farming techniques.
Debbie, the crew foreman,
explained the students can
do just about any type of
labor, except something that
could be dangerous to them,
such as operating chainsaws
and working on a second
storey. But other -than that,
"You name it and we can do
it," she said.
Although crews spend
most of their time on fartns,
students are available to
agricultural societies for
preparation and clean-up of

BELGRAVE — Eighty de-
cendants of the late Charles
and Maria Edgar attended
the 32nd reunion at Riverside
Park on Sunday, July 13.
The afternoon was spent
with sports for the children
conducted by Mr. and 'Mrs.
Lewis Taylor of Hawkesville
and Mr. and Mrs. Seim Ire-
land of Teeswater while the
older folks renewed old
aquaintances and viewed
several Old pictures.

served in memory of Mrs.

land, who passed away since
the last reunion.

Cost for an Agricrew is $90
for an eight-hour day. The
four students, one foreman
and three crew _members,
are responsible for their own
transportation and noon
Any full-time farmer can
hire students for a minimum
of one day and a maximum
of five days.
This week the girls are
picking stones for Barry
• Ireland. Mrs. Ireland ex-
plained they never hired an
Agricrew before, but she and
her husband are pleased
with the program and the
students' work.
"The kids work had and it
gives the farmer a chance to
get work done he normally
wouldn't have time to do,"
she said.

The annual reunion of the
fafnily of the late Bert Harris
was held on the Gadke Island
at Lakelet on Sunday. A
delicious cookout was en-
joyed by all. Entertainment
was provided by water
skiing, games and boating.
The oldest person was Mrs,
Annie Harris, the youngest '
Kristopher Rams of Toronto.

Teeswater and Blyth,

from a week's visit with his
