For her special day, the bride chose a floor -length gown of dacron polyester with sweetheart neckline, long sleeves and attached chapel train trimmed with lace. Her headdress was a Juliet caplet and from it fell a pure silk illusion fingertip veil trimmed with lace. The bride was given in marriage by her parents and carried a gift from them, a white open Bible covered in white satin and lace and trimmed with silk lily -of -the -valley, pink and rose roses with cascading roses on white lace ribbons. She also chose to wear a necklace that her Grandmother McCall wore on her wedding day. , Miss Sandra Anger of Wingham was maid of honor. She wore a floor -length accordion -pleated gown with imported lace crocheted jacket in daphne rose. She carried a closed Bible with a small arrangement of baby's breath, pink and rose roses. She wore a single rose in her hair. In similar gowns and carrying similar flowers were the bridesmaids, Cheryl Bauer, Brussels, sister of the groom; Vickie McCall, Brussels, cousin of the bride;• Karen Fitch of Belmore and Debbie Merkley, Wingham, both friends of the bride. Sylvia Beard was organist and Lynn Richardson sang 'Love Is All That Matters!, 'The Wedding Song!, nie's Song' and "rime in a Bottle'. Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an elegant gown of sheer gauze. The bodice was covered with French embroidered lace and the long bishop sleeves were trimmed with seed pearls. The matching hat trimmed with pink silk roses and holding, a fingertip veil. She carried a Gabrielle bouquet of white cymbidium orchids and dark pink Sweetheart roses, accented with ming fern. Miss Gloria Joan Lewis of London was her sister's maid of honor. She wore a dusty rose cocktail dress of peau de soie with a pleated capelet collar. Her dress Was highlighted with a choker and flower made of the same material as her dress. She carried a Georgette bouquet of light pink Sweetheart roses, white poms, fern and ivy. Bridesmaids were four friends of the bride, Mrs. Cindy Nixon of Wingham, Miss Carol Jamieson, Sarnia, Miss Janice Guest, London, and Miss, Janet Nevery, Toronto. They were dressed similarly to the maid of honor. Dr. Kevin Kieffer of Mildmay was best man and guests were ushered by Paul Moffatt of Bluevale, brother- in-law of the groom; Steve Donaldson of Teeswater; Brad Lewis of Kitchener, brother of the bride; and Gary Whytock, Teeswater. Following the ceremony, a •••' reception was -held in Belmore Community Centre where floral arrangements in light pink, deep pink and white adorned the guest tables. Receiving guests were the motheraof the bridal couple, the bride's mother choosing a silver grey chiffon cocktail dress exquisitely hand - painted with a semi blouson 'top falling gracefully into a tulip hemline. She wore a hand corsage of one white orchid and pink Sweetheart roses.
