open a new catalogue store
in the Wingham shopping
plaza this summer.

relocate in the plaza by
about the end of July.
In addition to a mail order
office, the company plans to
have a display area for
appliances in the new store,
similar to its Listowel outlet.

The storm struck around six o'clock and
lasted for only a few minutes, but for some
that was enough j
Harris Campbell of Bluevale looked
outside just in time to see his'travel trailer,
which was parked in the carport, fly past.
The trailer was picked up, turned
sideways and dumped on its side at the far
end of the carport, knocking out a section
of a stone wall in the process.
Steve Kuchta, two doors.down the street,.
had the roof lifted completely off his.
carport' and dropped inthe back yard,
causingtsome•damage to the house but.not
disturbing the car which was parked hi the
rt at the a time. The Kuchtas were _
• : away, in Listowel at the time`the'storm bit
and some neighbors,: notified them of the
damage.

However within 'hours the community
was picking itself up, as friends and neigh-
bors with chain saws pitched in to clear

Hanover misap
A `1ijroxeter man was the
driver of a truck which lost
its wheels while braking for
an intersection in Hanover
last week. Fortunately there
were no injuries or other
property damage in the
mishap.
Hanover police ' reported
George Galbraith was
driving. a boom truck and
trailer along 10th Street and
had applied the brakes to
stop for the intersection with
7th Avenue when the right
rear spring broke, allowing
the wheels to separate from
the frame and causing the
truck to drop down on that
side.
However it' scraped .to a•
' stop • without hitting
.anything, and, no' charges
were laid in the accident. '
The truck is „owned by
Allan Adams, also of

Bluevale by a severe windstorm last Thursday. The
wind picked up this travel trailer and turned It side-
ways before dropping it on Its side at the end of the

carport. Pert of a stone !chilli at the tidal Of fha carport
was knocked out in the process, and the Coiling miso
suffered some damage where the=troller struck it. Mr.
Campbell said he looked outside just In time to see it
fly by.

Bluevale during a storm last Thursday. However the car whi
