Whitechurch Personals
-Since the weather has been
anything but good it was nice
to have a few diversions this
past week. 'It has been
reported that a red -breasted
grosbeak has been seen in
the area. Wonder if this bird
has MS schedule mixed up as
we usually see these birds in
late summer or early fall.
Miss Kim Laidlaw had
Miss Tracy Steer visiting
with her on the weekendef
May 31.
Shane Hickey is employed
in the dairy section at Zehrs.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Day had
their older son, John, home
for the weekend.
Visiting with Mr. and Mrs.
George Webster were their
daughter, Brenda, husband,
Terry, and their two
children, Shawn and Jason.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rintoul
helped celebrate the eighth
birthday of Steven, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Neil Rintoul,
on the weekend. Also sharing
in the birthday celebrations
were Mr. and Mrs. Gordon
Campbell and Heather and
Mr. and Mrs. Mac Cardiff.
Miss Valerie Errington of
St, Helens held a surprise
shower for Lori Purdon
Sunday afternoon. Lori
received many gifts such as
towels, casseroles, plaques,
glasses and oven mitts.
The community extends
sincere „sympathy to Mrs.
Mac McFarlane whose
husband passed away this
past week. Service was held
at the Stiles Funeral Horne,
Goderich. Mrs. McFarlane
was the former Merle Gaunt.

Mr. and Mrs. George

anniversary with Mr. and
Mrs. A. Rintoul of Wingham.
They went out to Kincardine
for a Chinese dinner.
