aside for senior citizens,
repeated • their delightful
operetta entitled 'The
Swinging Pied Piper' in their
appropriately decorated
gymnasium. The Belgrave
Kinsmen and their wives
transported 25 of our
residents to Belgrave to.
attend . the performance
where many senior students
were on hand to assist and
afterward to serve refresh-
ments. The ' kindness and
courtesy displayed by these
children was commendable.
The day was a smashing
success.
On May 16 Caravan

spring fashion show. The
resident models for the show
were' Miss Nora Van Camp,
Mrs. Annie Baker, Mrs.
Agnes Sparks, .Mrs. Pearl
Wheeler, Sam Vanstone and
Miss Bella Keating. Miss
Dianne Moore, a staff
member, also modelled
some super spring fashions.
The winner of the doer prize,
Chester Giikinson, received
a lovely pair of pyjamas. A
social hour followed the show
which was a pleasant way to
end an exciting afternoon.

thanked the service club for
its support and promised
that he would be back to

Lions club discussed the
'construction of a picnic
shelter at Riverside Park.
Although no final decision
has been made the club
hopes to sponsor the project.
The club will also put on a
Bingo during the Wingham
Funfest that is organized by
the Junior Citizens.
Several donations were
made during the meeting.
The Wingham and District
Associati'bn for the Mentally
Retarded was granted $100,
and $50 was granted to the
Salvation Army's Red Shield
Appeal.
At least three delegates
planned to attend the
Multiple District A con-
vention in Ottawa this week.
