Before the writer and her
husband left Wroxeter we
had to find a new home for
our horse, Jake, so we sold
him to a man in Bluevale.
Since then he went to another
owner and now he has found
anew home here in
Whitechurch. Sunday we
saw him for the first time in
a year, being ridden by Lisa
Stone. We were quite pleased
to see him looking so good.
Monday we looked out the
window just in time to see
Mrs. Springer's car back
into a tree. It seems the car
got there by itself as no one
was in it at the time and we
can only assume that es she
got out of the car the gears
must have been nudged. No
one was hurt but there was
quite a bit of damage done to
the trunk and bumper.
Recently. the writer was
working. in the garden and
heard a familiar noise. In the
sky was a 'flock of honking
geese, about 63 in number,
making their way north.
Each year.' that we are for-
tunate to see this spectacle
we always marvel that these
birds fly such great
distances and always know
the way. This annual event is
to. ..the. writes one of the
wonders of our world.

freedom, do we mean it as
much for people of other
religious beliefs as we do for
our own?" asked Mrs. E.
Jeffray as she presented the
topic, 'Freedom of Religion',
at the April meeting of the
Women's Missionary'Society
of Knox Presbyterian
Church, Belmore.
Examples of problems
which threaten the religious
freedom of people in India,
Canada, Taiwan and Cuba
were described and
discussed. Though freedom '
of religion is not universally
enjoyed, unpopularity, in-

everyday pressures are the
three main hindrances to a
Christian witnessing for

President Mrs. K. Dickson
contributed several in-

program and appropriate
hymns were sung. Mrs. R.
Dickson chose the theme,
'Bloom Where You're

and based her prayer and
