Weekly euchre BELGRAVE — Eight tables of euchre were in play at the lgrave weekly euchre last Wednesday evening. High lady; Mrs. Verena Bone; low lady, Mrs. William Black; novelty lady, Mrs. Mel Jacklin; high man, Mel Jack - lin; low man, Lorne Jamie- son; novelty man, Gordon Walker. There will be another euchre next week as usual at 8 p.m. would take a year toa year and a half for the money to come through. East Wawanosh council,, which had previously heard the proposal, called the special meeting to try and get some idea how much support it could expect from its neigh- boring municipality. But although the entire Morris council was invited to attend, only Ross Procter and Reeve Bill Elston showed up, and they noted they couldn't commit the council to any- thing. Mr. Procter did agree, though, that "Morris is just as involved in Belgrave as Zest Wawanosh." The councillors also spent some time discussing the pros and cons of the proposed recreational development.
