He was born in Wingham on October 22, 1908, and was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Darcy Lediet. He was employed by Lloyd Doors. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. William (Hazel) Dankert of Guelph and Mrs. Ken (Eva) Simmons of RR 4, Wingham; four brothers, George of Florida, Bill, Gordon .and Alvin, all of Wingham The late Mr. Lediet rested at the Currie -Walker Funeral Home, Wingham, until Wednesday, March 19, when service was conducted at two o'clock by Rev. J. T. M. Swan of St. Paul's Anglican Church where deceased was a member. Interment followed in Wingham Cemetery. Pallbearers. were Harold Hutton, Hans Schip)oer, Ken Saxton Jr., Murray Jenkins, Glenn Sinnamon and 'Ed Rich. Floral tributes were carried by George Whitby and Gordon Davidson.
