Wingham played a strong forechecking game to down the home team by a score of 4-1. Mitchell scored the first goal of the contest, but Paul Robinson tied the game less than a minute later. Dwayne Jenkins made it 2-1 for Wingham with less than 35 seconds left in the first period, assisted by Tim Brown and Doug Stephenson. After a scoreless second period, Quinn ODonohue scored only 23 seconds into the third frame, assisted by Doug McFarlan and Paul. Robinson. Robinson capped a fine per- formance with his second goal of the game at 13:43, assisted •-by,Eilly-Camerom.and Jamie Robinson. ICE CHIPS—Someone must have lit a fire under Greg Walton. He played his best game of the season with strong forechecking and hustle. PeeiNees split games against Mississauga The Wingham Legion Pee- Wees played a pair of games in Mississauga last weekend, winning the first contest 4-3 on Saturday and bowing 5-1 in the second on Sunday. Quinn O'Donohue was really flying in Saturday's game, picking up three goals and one assist. Jeff Cameron scored the ^opening "goal of the game, assisted by O'Donohue. O'Donohue then scored three goals in a row, with Doug. McFarlan assisting on all of them. Mississauga gained revenge on Sunday, downing the local boys by a score of 5-1. Mc- Farlan scored the lone Wingham goal unassisted. ICE CHIPS—Anyone who thinks city people aren't friendly never has been in Mississauga. Billy Cameron scored the first goal On what seemed to be• an easy shot from the blue - line at the 13:32 mark of the first period. Then the Wingham boys scored two more times in the first =period with goals from Doig Mc- Farlan and Quinn O'Donohue, with an assist going to Mc- Farlan. In the second period Jason Goodall got a fluke goal from an almost impossible angle, with an assist going to Jim Dennis. Then Dennis came back with his second goal of the season; with assists going to Paul Kenyon and O'Donohue. Cameron got his second goal of the night, with an assist going to Jamie Robinson. Paul Kenyon got his first goal of the year, and believe me he was happy. Dennis and O'Donohue got assists on Kenyon's goal. Then O'Donohue came back and scored on a perfect passing play from Goodall and Dennis at the 10:01 mark of the second Palmerston The bands are back! ICE CHiPS—Mitchell Braun played out and let Todd Stainton be backup goalie. 'Mitch' was wearing the 'C' for Wingham and had all kinds of chances to score, but just could not believe his eyes. Paul Kenyon had a strong game for the Pee Wees with four points. Quinn O'Donohue's. line scored nine of the 11 goals. The Wingham PeeWees really played as a team.
