Quality, Savings, Convenience
Let the
buyer beware
Anyone approached by a
pedlar of frozen fish would be
well advised to check
carefully the quality of the
product before making a
purchase.
A Wingham housewife
advised us last week she had
purchased fish from some
people making the rounds in a
black truck, and upon thawing
it found it was rotten.
The town Berk reported no
peddling licences have been
issued . recently, although a
li4ence is not required If a
person is selling his own
product. The local police also
reported they had not yet
received any complaints.
Stephens and Mrs. Verna
Thomas; low, Mrs. Dave
Watson and Mrs. Ethel Long.
A draw prize was won by Mrs.
Mary Yuill.
The next meeting will be
held on Wednesday afternoon,
March 19. Each member is to
bring a guest who qualifies as
a senior citizen. The meeting
closed with lunch prepared
and served by the lunch com-
mittee.
