FORDWICH—The general
meeting of the Fordwich
United Church Women was
held in the Sunday School
room on Thursday of last week
with the theme, "A Heart
Filled • With Gladness",
presented by Mrs. Jack Mann
and Mrs. Jack Wilson.
The invocation was given by
Mrs. Mann and scripture
readings by Mrs. Wilson. The
meditation was given under
the following headings: When
you. are happy; Seasons of
happiness; Sources 'of hap-
piness; and What season is the
happiest?, with the two
participants,' providing
meditations and appropriate
Bible references. The worship
service dosed with . a' hymn
rand prayer by Mrs. Wilson.

the Midwestern Regional
Centre near Palmerston again
this spring.
The 13 -week course, 'The
Sociology of Social Problems!',,
will be held Tuesdays from ?

suicide, sexual deviation,

will bewaived for persons 60
years of age or older. Pro-
spective students and others -
who want to find out more
about the course are invitedto
attend the first lecture. Pre-
registration is not required.

The Sacred Heart Parish
held a 12 -table card party on
Feb. 5.
High lady was Jean Crump

Mary Hehn, playing as men,
captured the high and low
man spots. Marg King won the
draw and the conveners for
the party were Teresa Foxton
and Jean Bauer.
Euchre winner:

weekly euchre last Wednes-
day evening at the WI Hall.
