We all care a lot about Canada.
That's why we need the New
democrats now more than ever.
Canadians voted out,the Liberals in I979'hecause we
were fed up with high prices. high taxes, h'1gh
unemployment.
They gave the Conservatives a chance. And the
Conservatives did even worse than the Liberals!
Maybethey fion't care about Canada — but New
Democrats do.

IMPORTANT
if the equalized assessment had been used for taxation in 1979, .I estimate that the residentlal mill rate would have been approximately
129.951 mills and the commercial„mif rate would have been 148,337 mills, '
The residential min rate Is applied against ell property with a tax status of residential/farm; the commercial mill rate is applied to 819
property with a tax status of commercial.
To calcutete your estimated 1900 takes based on the equalized assessment multiply the assessment shown on your notice by the ap-
propriate mill rate. ,
For example, alai= assessment multiplied Mil tha residential mill rate showp above) would produce a max of 0389.86. Thh eitlmo s is
based on the municipality's 1979 budget ,
