"I think they did -a fantastic job, not only for the Howick- Denims* game but for the Super Series tournament the week before," Mr. G'on said. "And I think the arena was nicely decorated for the holiday season." Goderich Sailors take Royals 6-3 Wingham Royals travelled to Goderich Dec. 28 to take on the Sailors and came up on the short end of a 6-3 final score. PeeWees tie Seaforth • Wingliam Legion PeeWees came up with a superb effort Thursday evening in the Lockridge Memorial Arena and fought to a 5-5 draw with. the powerful Seaforth team. Seaforth took.an early 2-0 lead. With less. than two minutes remaining in'the first peribd Paul Robinson scored for- Wingham, assisted by Dwayne Jenkins, At' 3 :47 of the second Wingham drew even with Doug McFarlan scoring a neat pass from Quinn O'Donohue. Dave McIlwain, who scored four goals for $eaforth, broke the 2-2 tie at 5:37 of the second frame. Doug Stephenson replied for the locals a minute and half later with Greg Walton picking up an assist. A late goal by McIlwain put Seaforth ahead by . 4-3 as the period ended. Paul Robinson tied the score for Wingham at the midway point of the third w& an unassisted marker.
