stage comeback
The Howick Juveniles played'
their best game of the season last
Wednesday when they carne from
behind to defeat Blyth 7-6 in
Blyth.
Howick was trailing 6-3 with
only 14 minutes left in the game
when Jerry (the Flying Pole)
Olechowski scored his second of
three goals. With 4:08 remaining
in the match, captain Don Adair
let loose with a hard slapshot
from the point that the goaltender
didn't have a chance to grab.
With 2:28 left, Adair scored
again, grabbing a rebound in
front of the net and tucking it in,
to tie the game. Finally, with 1:39
left in the game, Randy Clark
moved the puck out of the Howick
zone and passed to Al Bragg, who -
sent Olechowski in to score the
winner.
In addition to Olechowski's hat
trick and Adair's pair of goals,
Howick received markers from
Al Bragg and Dave Townsend.
