Magic program of the Wingham Children's Theatre Dec. 8. Also in the pro-
gram but missing from the picture are Maureen Beattie, Kerrie Bray and
Natalie Campeau. The program will begin at 8 p.m. in the town hall audi-
torium.
Fordwich.church is setting
for Sullivan -Miller vows
Autumn flowers and lighted
tapers in candelabra formed the
setting in the Fordwich United
Church on Friday evening,
November 18, when Eileen Ruth
Miller of Fordwich and William
A. Sullivan of Gorrie exchanged
marriage vows. The double -ring'
ceremony was performed by
Rev. T. H. Fleetham. Mrs. Linda
Walker was organist and accom-
panied the solist, Miss Carol Sch-
neider of Palmerston, as she sang
The Lord's Prayer and "We've
Only Just Begun".
Parents of the brides are Mr.
and Mrs. Elmer Miller, Ford-
wich. The groom is the son of
Mrs. Delphine Sullivan of To-
ronto and the late Mr. Sullivan.

A sometimes -funny, some-
times -heartbreaking story deal-
ing • with the growing pains of wo-
man, will be. presented on the
stage of Blyth Memorial Hall on
Monday, December 5, at 2 p.m.
"Mirror, Mirror" is based on the
literary work of Alice Munroe,
Margaret Laurence, Gabrielle
Roy, Sylvia Fraser and Margaret
Atwood. It was adapted for the
stage by the artistic director of
Theatre -Go -Round, Patricia
Mahoney.
A sensitive blending of ex-
cerpts from these authors° works,
the play deals with the growth of
women from childhood to old age.
James Roy, artistic director of
the Blyth Summer Festival, will

direct the play which is being
produced by Theatre -Go -Round,
a new company formed to bring
theatre to school audiences.
Angela Gei, who has starred in
many of Blyth's summer produc-
tions, will star in "Mirror, Mir-
ror". Her co-stars will be Wendy
Creed, a recent graduate of the
Brighton Old Vic theatre school,
and Elizabeth Hanna who has
just completed a performance at
the Saidye Bronfman Theatre
School in Montreal.
On Wednesday evening, Dec-
ember 7, the greatest movie of all
time, "Gone With the Wind",
starring Vivien Leigh and Clark
Gable, will be shown at the Blyth
Centre, beginning at 8 p.m.
highlight meeting
Mrs. Henry tenPas was the
special guest when the members
of the Maitland Women's . Insti-
tute held its Citizenship and
World Affairs meeting in the
council chambers on Tuesday
evening of last week.
Mrs. tenPas was introduced by
Mrs. Casemore. She showed
slides of her trip to Ecuador,
South America. She was thanked
by Mrs. Jacklin who expressed
the group's appreciation for an
interesting informative tour, with
pictures and commentary. Mrs.
Jacklin gave her a small token of
appreciation.
Mrs. Belanger opened the
meeting with the Ode and Mary
Stewart Collect. Mrs. McDougall
gave the treasurer's report and
read the correspondence. A letter
was also read and discussed, re-
garding making a quilt to be
judged at the 1978 International
Plowing Match.
The members were reminded
of the Christmas meeting Dec-
ember 13 at 8:15 with special
guests invited. Mrs. Harper Eng-
lish will be the speaker and a gift
exchange will take place.
The draw was made for the
quilt and Mrs. Don Gillespie,
Holyrood, was the winner.

wich was maid of honor. She wore

Groomsman was Ken Mc-
Arthur of Blyth and guests were
ushered by Grant Miller of Ford-
wich, a brother of the bride.
Following the ceremoney a re-
ception was held in the Fordwich.
Community Hall. The bride's
table was centred with a three -
tiered heart -shaped wedding
cake flanked by white and yellow
candles and streamers. Guests
from Port Credit, Elora, Blyth,
Lion's Head, Kitchener, Water-
loo, Gorrie and the surrounding
area attended the wedding.
The bride's mother wore a
green flowered gown with a
yellow mum corsage. The grand-
mother of the groom chose a
green flowered gown and a cor-
sage of orange mums.
For travelling, the bride wore a
rust crimpolene pantsuit with a
yellow mum corsage. They will
reside in Gorrie.
Honored guests at the wedding
were the groom's grandmother,
Mrs. Archie McArthur; his great
grandfather, James Bridge,
Lion's Head; and Mrs. Mabel
Edgar of Gorrie.
