Among those helping were Bob Crawford, Rick Hill (a guest, hidden behind Bob), Ian Deslauriers, Draw Chairman Bruce Howson and Andy McBride. The Radio Auction Chairman, Dave Thorne took the opportunity to hand out canvassing assignments for the auction coming up Dec. 5. KIN DIRECTORS—Gary McCormick, Don Carter and Dave Thorne are directors of the Wingham Kinsmen Club this year. With them is Zone B Deputy Governor Ron Heipel, who attended the club's meeting last week. Mr. Heipel congratulated the Kin for their com- munity activities and encouraged the club's plans for growth.insmen from Lucknow and from the newly formed Belgrave club were also .present a the meeting. Mrs. Harvey Osborne and family were his grandmother, Mrs. Sam Osborne of Chesley, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Osborne, Janice and Terry of Markdale. All attended the chris- tening of baby Laura Elizabeth on Sunday at Chalmers Presby- terian Church by Rev. Hugh Nu- gent of Ripley. Miss Wanda Ireland of Tees - water spent the weekend with Vickie Scott. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Evans on Sunday visited with their son, Ted Evans, Mrs. Evans and family of Ballinafad. Mr and Mrs Oliver AndPrcA,' of Auburn visited on Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Evans. Mr. and Mrs. Herb Hunter and Trevor of London spent the week- end with Mr. and Mrs, Wallace Conn of Wingham and attended his father's household sale in Lucknow. Figure skating began for this year Monday evening at Luck - now. Attending from White- church will be Stephen Tiffin, Tommy and Christine Smith and Lana Craig. Mrs. Simon de Boer of Luck - now spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. John de Boer. Tom Jamieson of Cosy Nook Rest Home spent Sunday with his son, Ronald Jamieson, Mrs. Jamieson and family. Mr. and Mrs. Orland Irwin and family and Mrs. John Crowston of Lucknow werg Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Laidlaw and family. Visitors during the week with Mr. and Mrs. Carl •McClenaghan and Mrs. Ben McClenaghan were ' Mrs. Sandy Fair and Shaun, Mrs. Doug MacDonald, Paul, Patricia and Christopher of Auburn and Mrs. Angus MacDonald of St. Helens. Little Michael John, son of Mr. ,and Mrs. Jim de Boer, was chris- tened at Chalmers Presbyterian Clitirch on Sunday by Rev. Hugh Nugent of Ripley. Hallowe'en iii this community •passed very quietly with the young fry making their rounds asking "Trick or Treat?" and with their UNICEF boxes. All were very mannerly and certain- ly enjoying all donations received. Mr. aid Mrs. Paul Elliott of Brussels were Sunday visitors with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Elliott, and family, Bill Forster was also a visitor at the Elliott home. Visitors on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mowbray were Mr. and Mrs. Ron Seddon, Brant- ford, and Mr. and Mrs. Angus Mowbray of Wingham. Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Tiffin were Mr. and Mrs. Dave Henderson and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Voisin and family, all of Guelph. This community extends sym- pathy to the family of the late Mrs. Thomas Inglis. She was the 'daughter' of the late Alexander and Elizabeth MacKenzie of ,Scotland and married Mr. Inglis of West Wawanosh .on September 2, 1902. He predeceased he r in 1963. She is survived by $Ons, Mack of Highgate, Tom of West Wawanosh, Roderick of Earlton and John of Victoria, British Columbia; one daughter, Pauline Adams; 18 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was predeceased by daughters Betty and Christine and sons Alex and Allan. The funeral was held Oct- ober 20 from the MacKenzie Memorial Chapel, Lucknow, with Rev. .Wilena Brown of White- church United Church officiating. Mrs. Inglis was a member of the United Church.
