It happened one Saturday.
The boat in which Bert and
Henry were fishing became swamp-
ed. The two men tumbled into the
water. The only thing that remained
floating was the boat which the police
found later.
The two men tried to swim to
shore. They never made it
"When somethin' g like this hap-
pens, stay with the boat," said the
investigating officer. "Hold onto it
uniii you get to shore, or until help
comeOnly, zristrong, not easily
panicked— sV;riiinmer will make it
swimming to shore . . and the
chances he will aren't that great."
