Weekend visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rintoul were Mrs. Dave Oberholtzer, Jeffery and Julie of Waterloo and Mr. and Mrs. Gor- don Campbell of Kitchener. Dave Oberholtzer was on'a fishing trip to Burks Fans. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Osborne, Terry and Janet of Markdale visited Sunday with their son, Harvey Osborne, Mrs. Osborne, Bethany, Anna and Laura and Miss Ruth Hobbs. Mrs. Earl Caslick, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Conn were Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Doug- las Conley and Jason. Mr. and Mrs. Tom •Miller of Palrnerston were Sunday visitors with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Coolies. Visitors on the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Bob Adams were Mr. and Mrs. John Stewart and Pauline of Blyth and Mrs. Jim Smith and Robbie of Goderich. Miss Joyce Tiffin was home from Toronto for the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Tiffin, who held a birthday party for her. Present to cele- brate the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Bevin Tiffin,Stephen and Dean, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Tiffin, Lori and Michael of Wing - ham, Mrs. Orville Tiffin, Mrs. Ethel Stewart of Wingham, Miss Janet Sleightholm of T6ronto, Barry Tiffin and his chum Charles Tierre of Kitchener. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Donald Gaunt of Chatham on the arrival of a baby girl on September 29 -.- Mr. and Mrs. Bill Purdon and Mr. and Mrs. Russel Gaunt of Wingham spent the weekend at Chatham visiting with Donald Gaunt and Mrs. Gaunt in the hospital. Mrs. Bill Purdon re- mained for a longer visit. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Craig, Lana, Ryan and Jerrod and Albert Coultes visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Schwich- tenberg and family of Port Elgin. Wednesday evening Brian and Gayle Rintoul and IVIrS. Gary Rintoul visited with their mother, Mrs. Gordon Rintoal, at Univer- sity Hospital. Mrs. Rintoul was allowed home from hospital on Saturday last. Miss Ruth Hobbs of Trentor. accompanied Harvey Osborne home from Toronto on Friday evening to visit this week with her sister, Mrs. Harvey Osborne. Mr, and Mrs. Bill Porteous of Lucknow were Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Victor Emer- son, .‘• Mr. and Mrs. Eric Evans of Hyde Park were Sunday visitors with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Evans. Richard Moore on Sunday accompanied the Wingham Ban- tam hardball team to Toronto to see the Toronto Blue Jays playing Cleveland Indians. This is a final game and many prizes were being given away. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Henderson Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hen- derson Jr'. and Christat, all of Brantford, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Tiffin. Bob Evans and friend of Hamilton were Sunday visitors with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Bill Evans. and Mrs. Jim Wilson of WingbaiJivere Sunday visitors with Mrd Mrs. Bob Mowbray. MI s. Davidson, Mrs. Lorne Durnin and Mrs. Garnet Farrier -attended "Come to the Fair" held Saturday in Mitchell in connec- tion with convenerships of the United*urch. APPLE DUMPLING GANG The Belmore I 4-H club finally settled on the name "The Apple Dumpling Gang" at its third meeting Sept. 27. Mrs. Terry Deyell and Mrs. Eadie helped the girls make Peach Layer Dessert and Rasp- berry Bavarian Cream. Then, in- stead of a discussiOn, they had a game involving all sorts of fruits.
