Listowel Memorial Hospital.

Everitt Cooper and Dr. C. H.
Thomas have been on a motor
trip to Grand Falls, Montana, to
visit the doctor's son John, and
other relatives, for two weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. Don King and Mr.
and Mrs. Mark Brunarski were
guests Saturday at the Nicol -
Speer wedding at Tara.
Mr. and Mrs. Terry Clarkson of
Nobleton spent the weekend at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Scott
Clarkson. .
Mrs. Neta Brunarski and Jon of
Port Colborne spent the weekend
with Mr. and Mrs: Mark
Brunarski.
Mr. and Mrs. Wally Gibson,
Mr. and Mrs. Garfield Gibson
and family and Mr. and Mrs.
Harold Gibson and family at-
tended a family reunion over the
weekend at Flint, Michigan.
Mr. and Mrs. Scott Clarkson

returned home Wednesday after
a holiday in the Western
Provinces.

Mr. and Mrs. C. Allen Cooper of
the Bahamas have returned
home from a trip to Ontario.,

Caribbean is
subject for
afternoon unit
BELGRAVE -,-.- The Afternoon
Unit meeting opened with singing
the hymn "Break Thou the Bread
of Life". Mrs. Willard Armstrong
led the worship service which
was centred around the theme
"School Days for Young and Old
— Never Stop Learning". Mrs.
Earl Anderson introduced the
study book "New Missions in the
Caribbean". The history of the
settlement of some of the British.
Commonwealth was • given; es-
pecially Belise. The hymn "My
God I Love Thee" was repeated
in unison. Mrs. Armstrong led in
prayer and gave the Bible study
on "Jesus the Free Person".
Several scripture passages
were read in unison relating to
the thought "What keeps us from
being free?"
The meeting closed with the
hymn, "My Faith Looks up to
Thee", and the Lord's Prayer.
