Mrs. Ted Klaassen left last week from Melton International Airport 'for a few weeks' visit with her parents and other rela- tives in. Germany. Jack Foster of Toronto visited one day last week with his mother, Mrs. Ruby Foster, in the Listowel Memorial Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Tomlin and Laurie of Hanover visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Wellington Hargrave.. Everitt Cooper and Dr. C. H. Thomas have been on a motor trip to Grand Falls, Montana, to visit the doctor's son John, and other relatives, for two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Don King and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Brunarski were guests Saturday at the Nicol - Speer wedding at Tara. Mr. and Mrs. Terry Clarkson of Nobleton spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Clarkson. . Mrs. Neta Brunarski and Jon of Port Colborne spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs: Mark Brunarski. Mr. and Mrs. Wally Gibson, Mr. and Mrs. Garfield Gibson and family and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gibson and family at- tended a family reunion over the weekend at Flint, Michigan. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Clarkson and Mr. and Mrs. Wray Cooper returned home Wednesday after a holiday in the Western Provinces. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Lynn of Orillia and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Webb and family of St. Catharines spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Haver - field, Sunday guests at the same home were Mr. and Mrs. David Smith, Karen and Wayne of Pres- ton, Keith ,Ridley of Tecumseh, John and James, They also visited Mrs. Dora Ridley in Listo- wel Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Freide D'Arcey and Mrs. Elsie Strong attended the Well ington County Lodge in Guelph on Wednesday night, Sunday guests with Mr. and Mrs. Sam Johnston were Mr. and Mrs. Stan Moore of Ajax and Mrs. Nellie Hutehigut 9f Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. George Aferldey and family of BeimOre Visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wilson. Mrs. Barry D'Arcey,-Mrs. Elmer Miller and Mrs. Rick Woods were in Kitchener -on Fri- day. Mr. and Mrs. William Brenner off Howell, Michigan, spent a few days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Stan Bride. Mrs. James Fitzmaurice of London spent most of last week with her mother, Mrs. Cecil Cooper. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Warrell. visited over the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Fleischauer in Stratford. Mr. and Mrs. C. Allen Cooper of the Bahamas have returned home from a trip to Ontario., There is no generation gap when it comes to arthritis. It affects people of all ages. Caribbean is subject for afternoon unit BELGRAVE -,-.- The Afternoon Unit meeting opened with singing the hymn "Break Thou the Bread of Life". Mrs. Willard Armstrong led the worship service which was centred around the theme "School Days for Young and Old — Never Stop Learning". Mrs. Earl Anderson introduced the study book "New Missions in the Caribbean". The history of the settlement of some of the British. Commonwealth was • given; es- pecially Belise. The hymn "My God I Love Thee" was repeated in unison. Mrs. Armstrong led in prayer and gave the Bible study on "Jesus the Free Person". Several scripture passages were read in unison relating to the thought "What keeps us from being free?" The meeting closed with the hymn, "My Faith Looks up to Thee", and the Lord's Prayer.
