The club is to receive a grant 0105212,936 to aid in the costs of building a new curling facility, f with the addition of a golf lounge, to' replace the original structure c closed this spring by the labor s ministry. Construction is now a underway on the new building. s The new structure is being built g in conjunction with the present f golf club building in Morris -- Township. At a meeting earlier this year, members of the golf and curling clubs voted to merge into a single organization. • Other grants included in theL total announced of $238,132 in- si clude $11,760 to the Blyth Centre .F for the Arts to aid in the cost of anT "audience development" cani- paign, $218 to the Walton Area ie Sports Club,to aid in the purchase la of sports equipment and $98 to help the Bluevale and District al Recreation Association buy soft- 500 of Waterloo, headquarters for the games, and on Sunday night, at 8:30, the official closing cere- monies will be held at Seagram Stadium in Waterloo.
