Anderson, Wingham native, dies in Oshawa The death occurred in Oshawa on Sunday, August 14, of Ross McIntyre Anderson, in his 83rd year. Mr. Anderson died at his residence, 262 Ritson Road South, following a lengthy illness. Born in Wingham on April 11, 1895, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson. He re- sided in Wingham before moving to Oshawa 35 years ago. He was an employee of Zellers for 20 years, retiring in 1967, Surviving are his wife, the for- mer. Pearl McDonald, whom he married July 14, 1930, in St. Paul, Minnesota ; one daughter, Mrs. David. (Janice) Gibson of Cal- gary; three grandchildren, Jef- frey, Michael and Brian; and one brother, Archie Anderson of Scarborough. Mr. Anderson rested at the Armstrong Funeral Home, Oshawa, where funeral service was conducted on Tuesday, Aug. 16. Interment followed in Mount Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to the On- tario Heart Foundation are being acknowledged by the family as expressions of sympathy.
