JUNIOR BOYS' 200—Billy Tishler, from Howick Central School won this event in last
week's North Huron public school track and field day, with a time of 34.8 seconds,. Jonas
Kaciulis of East Wawanosh finished second, followed by Sheldon Baker of Turnberry.
Other competitors were Don Sholdice of Brussels, Ron Goetz of Grey Central and Doug
Wood of Wingham.
LOCKED IN A titanic struggle, Wingham's senior and intermediate boys finally went
clown to defeat against East .Wawanosh. Michael Hamilton Stephan Nichols, Joe
Skelding, Mike Rintoul, Steven Fitzsimmons, Blair Bushell, Jeff Jackson and Gary
Adams were on Wingham's end ofthe rope. The action was part of last week's track and
field day.
FINALLY VICTORIOUS after a tough pull, the East Wawanosh senior and intermediate
boys' tug of war team defeated a team from Wingham. John Haines, Steve Cameron,
Murray Hastings, Daryl Dunbar, Brian Snowden, Steve Stevenson, Steve Fidom and Glen
Taylor were on the winning side
