Janet Laidlaw DIED McCLENAGHAN—Passed away at her home in Kinloss Township on Sunday, June 24, Mrs. Mary McClenaghan, in her 88th year. The former Mary Caroline Barbour, she was the beloved wife of the ,.late Benjamin McClenaghan (1976) ; dear mother of Mrs. Harry (Lorna) Moss of Platte- ville, Melvin and his wife Norma of Waterloo, Irwin and his wife Gertrude of St. Thomas, Mrs. Bruce (Doris) Coleman of Nanaimo, B.C, Mrs. William (Eileen) Parker of Exeter, Mrs. James (Faye) McIntyre of Sudbury, Carl and his wife Margaret, at home. There are 20 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers and one sister. Funeral service was held Tuesday at The Currie -Walker Funeral Home, Wingham, at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. George Ball. Interment followed in Wingham Cemetery. Donations to one's favorite charity would be appreciated As expressions of sympathy. Thanks to friends and rela- tives for gifts, cards and best wishes received at the dime of our 50th wedding anniver- sary and for the dinner held in our honor. Ruth and Bert Johnston Mrs. John Kerekes passes at Niagara Mrs. Clara Szucs Kerekes of Niagara Falls passed away Monday, June 18, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital. She is survived by her husband John of Niagara Falls; eight daughters, Mrs. Nick (Anna) Bedo and Elizabeth, both of Niagara Falls; Mrs. Julie Stinson, Oliver, B.C.; Mrs. Bert (Helen) Safranyos, Ham- ilton; Mrs. James (Irene) Hazenstab, Canfield, Ohio; Mrs. Harold (Clara) Davidson, Lucknow; Mrs. Charlie (Catharine) Petelka, Etobicoke; Mrs. Harry, (Barbara) Tervo, Niagara Falls. There are two sisters, Mrs. John .(Barbara) Fodor and Elizabeth Stefanyaik, both in Hungary; 22 gran- dchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Stephen Kerekes. Funeral service was held at the Morse and Son Chapel of the Morgan Funeral Homes, Niagara Falls, on Wednesday, June' 20, with Rev. C. Saba Baksa of Ham- ilton officiating.
