Father Jack Marentette of
Sacred Heart Church,
Wingham, and St. Ambrose
has received word that he
has been transferred from
this area to St. Martin's
parish in London. He is t� be
replaced by Father Stan
Soltysik, a Michaelite father
who comes from London.
The transfer takes place
May 21. Fr. Marentette will
be greatly missed in the
parish.

Graduation exercises were
held at Fanshawe College
April 27 for Brian Deitner,
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo
Deitner of RR 1, Ethel, who
was one of the graduates in
the auto body course. He
presently is employed at
McNeil's Auto Body,
Brussels.

Mr. and Mrsack Ritchie,

from Brantford, and

April 28 from England. While
there they attended the
wedding of their son and
brother, Kenneth William, to
Kristin Harvey Alde,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F.
Alde of Adelaide, South
Australia.
The ceremony took place
in the John Bunyan Baptist
Church, Kingston on
Thames, Surrey. After a
short honeymoon in Ireland,
the newlyweds will return to
Saudi Arabia where they
both are employed
currently.
While abroad, the Ritchie

to tour England and Scotland
prior to the wedding.

Canada Health Day will be celebrated on May
12, 1984. The theme is "Behind the Scenes in
Health Care.”
Cosponsored by the. Canadian Public Health
Association and the Canadian Hospital Associa-
tion, the purpose of this day is to increase the
awareness of the general public and the health

The 1984 theme provides the community
with a unique opportunity to team more' about
