Women in Jesus' Life
is topic of UCW study
FORDWICH — The study
book, "Jesus Means Life",
was introduced by Mrs. Scott
Clarkson when the afternoon
unit of the United Church
Women met February 9.
Mrs. Clarkson,. Mrs.
Harold Gibson and Mrs.
Pittendreigh presented the
program around the new
study and in her in
troduction, Mrs. Clarkson

Jesus brought to women.
Passages of scripture were
read by Mrs. Pittendreigh
and the meditation was
given by Mrs. Gibson.
The study showed that
Jesus . treated women as
persons equal to men. Many
examples were used — the
woman at the well; the
healing, of the woman's
daughter; the woman wiping
Jesus' feet with her tears. It
was women whom• Jesus
appeared to after • his
resurrection. Following the
study, a •questionnaire was
conducted.
A pot luck dinner preceded
the meeting which was based
