They accomodate every- thing that's usually scat- tered around kitchens, bath- rooms, art studios, play- rooms and home workshops. A kitchen catch-all is ideal for pencils, shopping lists, recipe books, scissors and spatulas. A hanging in the bathroom can hold tooth- paste, toothbrushes, combs, a hand mirror, makeup brushes and a magazine or two. No matter where you put one, a catch-all can tidy up any desk, counter -top, dresser or sink. All you need for the catch- all is wall space, and not much of that. If no wall is available, you can hang it behind a door or inside a. cabinet. The main ingredients are fabric scraps and your sew- ing basket.
