Classifying the art of quilting as a heritage from early beginnings in Canada, the Ministry is introducing the 4- H project to commemorate Ontario's Bicentennial. It is hoped that the quilting course will appeal to members with all levels of experience in sewing and crafts. Beginners will learn basic techniques anile complete one small quilted article. More experienced members will be encouraged to use creative talents by choosing a more difficult design. Quilting is a modern- day expression of art 'and used for many things besides bed quilts, including clothing, draperies, wall hangings and household accessories.
