McCloud, of Caledon East, who owns the property ad- joining Mtn. Oreig's. The controversy over the posit -ion of the line fence dividing the property of the two men came into question when Mr. Greig tore down the old fence and constructed a new one. Mr. McCloud, believing the new fence to extend even - further, onto his property than the old one had, (both parties agreed the fence bad never been in thecorrect position)- contacted township fence viewers and requested they examine the fence. Mr. Greig maintains that fence viewers haveno au- thority on the position : of the ',fence and can only authorize action based on the condition of the fence. As it turned out the fence have to spend some money, viewers decision was that Nit it's better than having the fence should remain as mething like this happen where it presently is.
