For members of a Swedish
Midget hockey- team,
currently playing a series -of
exhibition games against
teams in Ontario, their trip
to Canada has been an
eagerly -awaited event.
And, said spokesmen for
the Munksund-Skuthamn SK
(MSSK) hockey club which
visited Wingharri on
Tuesday, they are finding
Canada to be much like
home. The weather, the food
and the style of living are all
familiar.
Although the city of Pitea, ,'
from which the MSSK club
hails, is in the far north of_
Sweden, not too far from the
Arctic Circle, the moderat-
ing influence of the gulf cur-
rents makes the weather not
too different from what they
have encountered here,
though it is not so damp.
