The parents and children sang
carols in the village and then re-
turned to the hall for Christmas
singing, a story time for the young
ones and a visit from Santa Claus
to give out goodies to the young-
sters.
Hot chocolate, coffee and all
kinds of Christmas treats were en-
joyed by the excellent crowd in at-
tendance. This was the first of
ase-
ries of winter evening get-togethers
that are being planned.

The service of baptism was con-
ducted earlier this month at Knox
Presbyterian Church in Belgrave.

Ray and Cindy Nicholson of Elmi-
ra. Visitors at the home Of Mr. and
Mrs. Gamer Nicholson recent were
Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Thornton of
Bluevale, Dr. Ray and Cindy Nich-
olson of Elmira, Victoria and Alex-
andra.
Beth Procter spent a few days
visiting last week at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Philip Stopforth and
Alexandria of Oakville.
