Institute Society
The winter weather played havoc
with our Christmas programs last
week at the Wingham Area Sen-
iors' Day Centre, forcing us to
close last Monday and Tuesday.
Remember to listen to the radio for
announcements of closures.
The wonderful aroma of turkey
cooking greeted us each morning as
we arrived at the centre. Delicious
turkey dinners were served each
day to clients and volunteers. In the
afternoon, we enjoyed entertain-
ment provided by local schools. We
extend thanks to the tearhers and
pupils from Turnberry Central, Sa-
cred Heart and the Lucknow Cen-
tral Public School for showing the
spirit of Christmas in song_
Our annual Christmas party will
be held Dec. 20 from 1 to 4 p.m_
This is a chance for everyone to en-
joy special entertainment, Christ-
mas caroling, socializing and re-
freshments.
Warm wishes for a Merry Christ-
mas are extended from everyone at
the seniors' day centre.
