Scott Inwood scored all four
goals for the Wingham Bantam Bs
on Sunday as they played Listowel
to a 4-4 draw.
Rob Martin tallied all four gouts
for Listowel.
Curtis Ritchie was in net for
Wingham and Greg Hymers was in
goal for Listowel.
The Bantam Bs travel to Kincar-
dine today for an 8:30 p.m. contest.

The Madill Mustangs boys bas-
ketball teams were looking to pick
up their first win of the season as
they took on. the Central Huron
Redmen in Huron County high
school basketball league play last
Wednesday afternoon.
The junior contest was the most
exciting with overtime being re-
quired to determine the winner. In
the senior contest, the Mustangs led
throughout the contest, and pulled
away in the second half to post a
20 -point victory.
Madill started off slowly in the
junior contest, trailing 12-4 after
one period of play. However, the
junior Mustangs rebounded in the
second quarter, and trailed by just
three points at halftime.
After three quarters of play, th
junior Mustangs were down by
five. In the fourth quarter, thing
got' intense as Madill came back to
gain a 51-51 tie and send the con-
test into extra time.
Madill coach Steve Merner re-
ceived a bench technical for disput-
ing a call with the officials. As
time was running out, the Central
Huron coach was warned by the of-
ficials about pestering the time
keeper and scorekeeper.
The Redmen hooped the first
two baskets of the five-minute
overtime session, but it was the jun-
ior Mustangs who prevailed, pull-
ing out a 58-56 victory.
Jeff Martin was top shooter for
the junior Mustangs as he collected
17 points. John Martin contributed
10 points with Darryl Brewer and
Greg Montgomery adding nine
points apiece.
Robert Fox was top shooter in
the game as he hit for 20 points for
the Redmen. Chris Dyk added 19
points and Rene 1 -Leroux contribut-
e ed 10 points.
The senior Mustangs, although
s unable to find the basket in the ear-
ly going, took a 12-10 lead by the
end of the first quarter. The senior

Mustangs took a 31-26 Lead into the
second half.
Playing an aggressive defensive
game, the Mustangs increased their
advantage to 10 points after three
periods of play. The senior Mus-
tangs added to their total in the fi-
nal period, to pull out a 67-47 vic-
tory.
Adam Carr was top shooter for
the senior Mustangs as he hooped
15 points. Kris Kriegar and Mick
Olds hit for 14 points apiece, with.
Jeff Elliott contributing 10 points.
Jason Kipfer had 22 points for
Central Huron with Jon Collier hit-
ting for 10 points.
The Mustangs play host to the
South Huron Panthers of Exeter to-
day, beginning at 2 p.m.
