THE USER -PAY TRAIL PERMIT SYS I EM
All OFSC trails in Ontario operate under the user -pay system whereby each sled
must cesplay a valid trail permit to be allowed on the trail. The annual sale of trail
permits generates lands required by OFSC clubs for grooming operations,
equipment maintenance and repair, equipment purchase, new trail development,
trail upgrade and improvement, operator wages, gas, oil, insurance, OFSC
operations and other ongoing costs incurred to keep groomed snowmobile trails
open and safe all winter long so you can have great riding whenever you want it,
anywhere in the province .The OFSC trail permit is Ontario's best winter
recreational value!
BUY WHERE YOU RIDE
Its very important that you buy your trail permit from the dub whose trails you ride
the most. This is because a significant portion of each club's annual revenues
carte from the money they keep from permits sold to their own riders. So i4 you
buy in one place, but do most o4 your snowmobiling in dnother leg. at the cottage),
you are actually contributing very little to the cost of maintaining the trails you ride.
You give the dub your traffic. but not your money. So please, buy where you ride.
TRESPASSING
Snowmobiling on OFSC trails without a perms is not only untair and inconsiderate
of those who are paying their own way or those who are working so hard to
maintain great trails tor your riding pleasure, but It can also be in violation of the
Trees 10 Property Act and subject to charges and lines Police forces,
conservation officers and OFSC wardens regularly patrol Ontario trails.

SNOWARAMA
The Easter Seal Society of Ontario is the
OFSC's "Charity of Choice". Recently, the
OFSC was recognized by the International
Snowmobile Congress as North America's
foremost individual charitable contributor
with Easter Seal donations in excess of
$12 million over the past 20 years. Most of
these dollars are raised through
Snowaramas, the snowmobile rides staged
across Ontario for physically challenged
kids. You are encouraged to either ride in
or pledge to a Snowarama this winter.
